The event took place on Wednesday June 16th at Al Ain Rotana, and was an occasion for Liwa, its staff, its graduates & their parents, Alumni members, and other stakeholders to get together in celebration of success and excellence.
The audience proudly listened to speeches by
His Excellency/ Ali saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, School Chairman, Dr. Shereen Gobran, School Principal, and four graduates who represented their class – Rashid Saeed Al Shamisi, Hiba Ibrahim Al Khatib, Sara Hussein Atat, and Ahmed Khaled Dawood.
While conferring the certificates to the graduates, the school commended their contributions to various school activities, in addition to their record of accomplishments while at Liwa School.
In line with its traditions, LIS honored the fathers of the graduates (through conferring special shields to them – The mothers were honored earlier during a special ceremony held earlier this month). This was the school Administration's way of showing their sincere appreciation of the parents' partnership with the school throughout the years.
